ATK-YTP Jyväskylä 2024 16.10 - 18.10.
What ATK-YTP?
ATK-YTP, literally translated to “Automatic information processing - co-operation days”, is a two day event that gathers IT-students from 7 university cities together. This year the event is organized in Jyväskylä by Linkki, Dumppi and Ynnä. The event is held mostly in Finnish but participating in English is encouraged!
Both main days start with seminars where companies give presentations (mostly in Finnish) at the Agora-building. After the seminars participants get to experience Jyväskylä by going around the city to checkpoints where local students and companies have prepared fun group tasks to complete. Teams will get points on how well the task is completed. After completing the checkpoints participants can catch their breath in a preparty right in the middle of Jyväskylä. The winners of the checkpoint-competition are announced at the preparties. The days end in afterparties with artists.
Participants from the other cities can sleep in a school accommodation, so it is recommended to have equipment to sleep on the floor for two days.
Tickets for the two day event cost 27€.
